The Wedding

     Augustine Corso married Vincenzo LoPiccolo in 1904 in St. Louis, Missouri. They had six children: Florence, Vincent, Josephine, Vera, Annette, and Salvatore. These six chidren eventually produced twenty-four grandchildren who knew Augustine and Vincenzo as Big Mother and Big Papa. Big Papa's father was also named Vincenzo LoPiccolo and he was known as Papa Vincenzo.

St. Joseph's day was celebrated at Cleveland Avenue with an elaborate dinner to which 13 orphans were invited. Piles of fruit and St. Joseph's bread were included.
